Welcome to your private Northern Michigan escape on Holy Island—just minutes from the Ironton Ferry and conveniently located near Castle Farms. Perfectly situated between Charlevoix and East Jordan, this secluded island retreat offers lush surroundings, year-round access, and the perfect balance of privacy and convenience.

Step inside and take in breathtaking views of Lake Charlevoix along with access to your private 60-foot dock. Boating enthusiasts will love this waterfront paradise, offering endless opportunities to explore the lake. You can bring your own boat or we are happy to offer recommendations of local boat rentals that deliver.

On the main level, you’ll find an upscale, fully equipped kitchen featuring an induction stovetop—perfect for preparing meals after a day on the water. The spacious living room showcases floor-to-ceiling windows that frame stunning lake views and fill the home with natural light.

The main-level primary suite offers a private retreat with a full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and walkout balcony—an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy sunset views over the lake. Just next door, you’ll find a kid-friendly guest room with a twin bed and a twin daybed that converts into a king. A full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination also includes a convenient stackable washer and dryer.

Upstairs, a loft-style family room provides additional space to relax, along with a guest room featuring both a king and queen bed.

The lower level offers even more room for your group, with two additional guest rooms—one with a king bed and one with a queen bed—plus a shared full bathroom with a walk-in shower. You’ll also find a third living space with plenty of seating and tables for games, watching TV, and enjoying the home’s impressive 22-foot shuffleboard table. Walkout access leads directly to the lower patio.

Outdoor fun is endless! Spend your days enjoying two kayaks, a paddleboard, and large group inflatables, or relax on the beach and play in the sand. This home is also pet-friendly (non-refundable pet fee applies and may be charged separately for third-party bookings).

Great stay!

We had such a wonderful trip! This is such a beautiful lake house on a gorgeous lake. We were able to kayak around the lake and golf in the area. The house is so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful with gorgeous lake views. Love that it was dog friendly and well supplied. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed April 30 - May 3 and had a lovely time. This is a very, very nice property. We had a 8 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone - the view is amazing. It was a bit cold for us to be outside, so wished we could of taken advantage of the fire pit, we did use the gas grill. The kitchen is well stocked and we used it quite a bit, so grateful for the dishwasher LOLThe only complaint I would have is the water pressure was subpar. We all struggled to get a decent shower, but other than that would absolutely recommend this property and should I have the whole family together again would love to return here - in the warmer weather though - we are in the Mitten, so it is a gamble no matter what time of the year!

Nice Stay

Nice house, nice location. There is not a direct path to the water which I have knee issues and couldn't get down to the water so that was disappointing. No fault of the owners but there were a pair of swans that were very aggressive and the weather was not favorable but overall it was nice to be back in the area.

Good for large group

Overall great stay and beautiful view of the East Jordan River. However, there was no note that stated there was no AC. Really hot in the upstairs rooms. Doors in the downstairs rooms/bathrooms do not shut which was uncomfortable when changing/using the bathroom.

Reviewer Comments: house was fine, bit warm but that's a welcome rarity in northern Michigan. well-equipped house, we cooked 6 times at the house, five times at the grill next to the outdoor table. The best feature is the location. we were able to rent a tri-tune and dock it out front because back side of holy island is completely protected. I was able to sail my Hobbie cat onto the beach. other locations on the lake are frequently too rough for beaching or even docking without a lift.A previous reviewer suggested that getting to the beach could be better laid out, we agree, and suspect updates will come. but not a showstopper by any stretch.
