We loved our overnight stay at The Chanticleer. We had book the reservation for the wrong day and the owner(?) was very accommodating in helping us resolve 5he issue. The Inn itself was such a quaint peaceful throwback - reminding us of childhood trips long ago. Beautiful lake views from our room and a spot on dinner recommendation rounded out a perfect evening stop on our way to UP for a little getaway. Highly recommend The Chanticleer for families couples or anyone just wanting to unwind and commune….

Parking was right in front of property. Restaurant and bar was closed due to off season. We love it there. Saw alot of deer,a fox and alot of eagles. Wss our first time seeing the lake frozen pretty view. Doors have key codes to get in. Jenni was great with communication and questions if needed. Love,love love this place.
