I stayed at this hotel twice in one week. Once at the beginning of the week and once at the end. My first stay was great, 5 stars. My room was on the second floor and very nice. The second time, however, was a totally different experience. My room was on the first floor and smelled, was warm, much smaller, seemed very dirty, and everything was just outdated with poor construction.

The hotel was okay overall with a good location that's convenient for exploring the area. The small swimming pool had perfect water conditions and was enjoyable. However, the property could use some fresh paint and updates, particularly in the breakfast room where a new coffee maker would be a welcome upgrade.

We started calling it the Wyndump. Sorely in need of a lot of maintenance. Room HVAC and bathroom fan were incredibly loud.

We checked into the room and immediately wanted to leave. There was a dirty sock in the corner of the room, a used bar of soap in the shower and hair on the floor as well as in the shower. For over $200 per night, I would hope for better.

Needs Improvement

Property has been neglected and needs to be better maintained. Trash, overgrown weeds, broken glass and animal waste observed throughout the parking lot. Wall coverings peeling in parts of the corridors. Case goods in rooms were old, scuffed up and some pieces didn’t work well together (such as oversized desk chair which doesn’t fit under the desk). Our room door had a visible gap from floor to ceiling resulting in excessive noise from the corridor. Housekeeping attempted entry several times times hours before scheduled checkout and barged inside once without even knocking. Free breakfast lacks a number of typical basic condiments (like different coffee sweeteners other than white sugar). On the plus side check-in was smooth and friendly—and we were allowed to check in a little early.
