We ran into our host out in town, very sweet people. The location of this cabin was awesome for what we wanted. On the lake, near some restaurants and bars. The cabin was brand new.

Grace cabin was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We ate all of our cooked in meals out on the porch. The view of the lake is beautiful. Susan was very quick to get back with me when I had questions about what to expect when we got there. Will stay again!

The room was very attractively decorated and the kitchen well-equipped. I enjoyed reading on the dock in the early evening and having breakfast (such as it was - see below) on the little porch off my room and looking out on beautiful, serene Big Moose Lake. I wish I had known the continental breakfast I had read about online was discontinued a couple of years ago after the fire. I didn’t have much food with me and had only brought lunch food for the next day. Fortunately, I had brought a few just-in-case canned goods which I had for breakfast, although they weren’t breakfast food. The room got quite stuffy during the night and I was awake for some time. I tried to set the air conditioner and start the fan, but wasn’t successful at 2:30 AM. It would have been helpful if the (nice) young man who checked me in had shown me how to do that. Despite these two less-than-satisfactory comments, I would recommend Grace-Big Moose Lakeside and would stay there again.
