Lovely old-style pub with rooms on the first and second floors. Its outside of Durham, but so close out daily trips in and out of the city for a graduation were done in under 10 minutes and less than 10 GBP for the Uber. Super nice landlady, and I do recommend this accommodation.

We stayed here after a really long drive, in advance of a day at Durham University. We didn’t really use any facilities as we arrived late and left early but it was great value and the pub downstairs seemed to have a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Firstly, the location in the Hotels.com app is different to the postcode. Staff were incredibly friendly, from check-in, the breakfast, to check-out. Bathroom could do with a really deep clean, likewise tea and coffee station

I purchased a package that included breakfast but the property refused to provide it despite the fact that I showed them my order included breakfast. In general it is not an hotel but a few small rooms above a local bar. The room was not very clean and the facility is not located close to the city center. Would not recommend.

Room was nice and comfortable. However, the location is listed wrong, this is not in Durham but a 5 minute drive out the city. Also, double check if your room includes breakfast as all correspondence said we had breakfast included but the expedia booking did not.
