Everything was so easy from check in to arrival and check out in the morning. The property is gorgeous and they thought of everything you could possibly need - from glasses of water to a sound machine and top notch bedding and toiletries! Location is also wonderful and it's easy to walk to so many restaurants and shops! This will be our go-to stop anytime we are in Durango!

This hotel was one of the best historic hotels I’ve stayed in. The bartender was the BEST! Great cocktails and conversation. The rooms have been modernized, so they are very comfortable and don’t have that old, musty smell you find in other older hotels. I will definitely stay there again next time I head to Durango!!

The Rochester Hotel has everything I needed while I visited Durango. The location is within walking distance of downtown’s many amenities and the staff are amazing hospitality specialists. This stay was a treat to my husband and self. We usually stay at chain hotels. I am so thankful that I decided to do something special. Everyone and everything was just wonderful. The outside patio chairs and small tables were perfect for a light lunch and then we walked over to Steamboat Brewery for a great steak dinner. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve been on at a hotel. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for all the special treatment.

Our stay was incredibly enjoyable. The property and rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. The service is outstanding! Everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. Brook, Iris, Kara, Olivia and our man, Tybie. It was our 30th anniversary and we couldn't have planned it any better. They made us feel special. The Rochester is perfectly situated one block from Main Street. We were impressed by all of the restaurants, as the service and food were exceptional. Free parking next to the hotel. Durango is a special place to visit.

Very nice, centrally-located historic hotel. Very friendly staff and nice ambiance. The only downside for us was that they were hosting a business event the day we arrived that essentially took over the bar and common areas leaving no space for staying guests and a long line at the bar so we went in search of someplace else to relax and grab a drink after a long drive.
