This was one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced. First room they put me in had “white bodily fluid” stains on the bedding, and a bandaid holding a drawer shut (without it, the drawer would roll open non-stop). Switched rooms to a blood stained pillow, and was told it was the only room available. Water pressure was terrible, shower temp was terrible. Pool was not heated, and the hot tub was “turned off” with no available maintenance available. Staff was absent most of the time, and minimally assistive when present. Stay somewhere else. I’ll never return.

Clean rooms, overall clean hotel. Lobby fireplace was not working, pool was extremely cold, had to pay additional for breakfast and it was mediocre, asked for an adjoining rooms when booked over 2 months prior to booking was told yes, upon arrival was told that wasn’t possible. Multiple times one of the front desk staff was sitting in the lobby on their phone, eating, laying down. Then took excessive amount of time to go back to the desk when we were standing there waiting on them.

Even if you don't stay here (though I absolutely, 100% recommend that you do, this hotel is fantastic, from Jim's kind greeting at the front desk to the view out every window), you have got to pay a visit to the hotel restaurant and try one of Kim's cocktails/mocktails. Kim infuses and mixes her own syrups, and they are pure divinity. The food is great too! And Kim - along with restaurant manager Charity - will make you feel so welcome.

We only stayed 1 night but the stay was great. The front desk girl (I didn’t get her name) was so nice and bubbly. She made the check in process easy and so comfortable. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time we travel to Durango.
