The location was slopeside and super convenient for the wedding I attended and to access the additional amenities available at Pugatory lodge. The rooftop hot tub, steam and dry saunas were an added bonus.Our timing was perfect with the fall colors.The VRBO description indicated that the unit slept 6 but that was no obvious as to how. I messaged the owner prior to arrival and they responded quickly to say that the couch had hideaway bed. However, the master bedroom and sofa bed could really use a newer mattress as they were pretty worn and uncomfortable. We had to request an extra pillow and bedding for the couch bed which was a bit annoying given that we had a late evening arrival. There were some areas (master bath, kitchen including dishes) that were questionably clean and we found items (likely from previous guests) in various drawers and the closet. The master toilet was having some flushing issues and the shower doesn’t seem to drain well so water was pooling at the base.
