The one star is for the very respectable, professional and dedicated gentleman on reception- he has an unenviable task, that`s plain for all to see although, on this occasion, he made our one night stay just about tolerable. Do not be tempted to book this hotel through perceived value for money! Just go elsewhere. This hotel should not be offered by Hotels.com (or any other third party), while the current usage exists. Occupied almost exclusively by 18-25 year olds, all obviously more familiar with `warmer climes`. They loiter and linger from arrival to departure both inside the portacabin styled hotel and around the locality,where they are not particularly quiet, they smoke a lot, litter quite badly and we only saw one fight (on the premises). If you are determined to stay at this hotel, you will find, as we did, a box room with the door security restrictor smashed off, a so basic double bed with bunk above,(minimum sheets/pillows), a sink, (with hot water) a TV (with no remote or on board controls). No further basics or essentials! Lastly, if you do go despite all of the above, please thank the gent on front desk for us once more- the only bright spot in a harsh, forbidding, and unpleasant reality.

Reviewing a hotel that is only £28 a night for 2 people is not easy. Overall value for money wise it is exactly as I expected. Basic, but functional. No frills, barely something that could have a frill. Bring earplugs. Bring a towel. Bring a realistic level of expectation.

It looked like a accommodation for the homeless lots of young people hanging around and drinking. The rooms were tiny just enough room for metal beds. Communal showers and toilets. I would not visit again

Filthy. A place for the homeless. Stinks like urine everywhere. Toilets unusable. You'll have to go to Carrefour to use the toilets.

Stop over hotel close to Eurotunnel.

Does what it says on the tin. A reasonable stop over hotel in close proximity to the Eurotunnel. The hotel could not find our reservation as apparently they don’t use hotels.com for reservations. It took half an hour, a phone call to the manager and I was sent away being told we couldn’t stay before they finally agreed we had a booking which had been paid for. This was despite showing the reservation details and the payment that had been taken from my credit card. Apparently hotels.com shows as a different company on their reservations?! The hotel is currently under renovation with only certain rooms available for stays. Toilets are shared and not great, they were clean when we arrived but less so by the morning as there seemed to be only two toilets between all guests. The rooms were fairly clean, bed sheets were clean although the blankets were full of holes. No towels provided, lack of soap at the sinks and toilets meant it all felt a bit unhygienic. We arrived late and left early, it just about passes as a stop over hotel during a long journey but remember your own towels and definitely take some soap.

Horrible séjour à fuir absolument

Nous sommes arrivés déjà à l’accueil il trouvait pas la clé donc nous a mis un code chambre d’une saleté inimaginable tache sur les couettes taches partout d’ailleurs toilette et douche à l’extérieur non spécifié d’une saleté écœurante et le bruit on en parle même pas nous sommes parti de la chambre à 4h du matin pour finir la nuit dans la voiture hôtel non fumeur hors ça sentait la drogue jusqu’au chambre je souhaiterais un remboursement car 62 euro pr ça désolé mais il y’a un gros soucis

Budget vriendelijk hotel

Het personeel achter de receptie was vriendelijk en wees mij de weg naar de kamer en vertelde hoe het code slot werkte. Wanneer je het geen probleem vindt om tijdens een overnachting geen douche en toilet op eigen kamer te hebben dan (bevinden zich op de gang, en deel je met andere hotel gasten) is dit een oké keuze. De kamers zijn gehorig, alles wat op de gang gebeurt aan geluid krijg je mee, dus ben je een lichte slaper zijn oordopjes wellicht een goed idee. De kwaliteit van slaap ligt niet aan de bedden maar dus meer aan de overige gasten in het hotel en hoeveel lawaai zij produceren. Voor mij is Duinkerke een doorreis plaats dus langer dan één overnachting ben ik nooit in hetzelfde hotel, en met het oog daarop was dit voor mij prima.

Het is basic maar daar is de prijs ook na. Er kan wel wat beter schoongemaakt worden. Toen ik aankwam dacht ik het ruikt hier als een toilet van een treinstation. Maar gelukkig de kamer zelf was wel schoon en een goed bed ,wastafeltje en een televisie. Douches en toiletten zijn op de gang. Wat ik fijn vond is dat er ook een extra deurslot van binnen is als vrouw zijnde alleen wel fijn. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Dat maakte het hotel leuk en gezellig.
