The coastal village of Southerness has undoubtedly some of the most outstanding views of the Solway Firth to the English Lake District. Explore the beach and the striking white landmark of the Lighthouse, built in 1749, or challenge yourself on the championship golf course.

From Wavecrest you have an ideal base in which to explore beautiful Dumfries and Galloway from its beaches, right on your doorstep, to coves, cliff top walks and forest trails.
