The pool times are not particularly useful for someone on work travel with meetings outside the hotel. Room service was a bit erratic: bins where not cleared on arrival, exchanged my towels even if on the hook, but forgot the coffee refill then forgot my room entirely the next day then tried it anyway the day after even though I told them that I’m in and have meetings the day after.

I chose this property because a pool and fitness area were high on our priority list. However, the lack of transparency around pricing was disappointing. There was no information online indicating that these facilities were subject to an extra fee, and we were only notified at check-in. Given that our stay cost £500 for two nights, I believe it is fair to expect gym and pool access to be included. I would strongly urge management to make these surcharges clear at the time of booking.

Don't be fooled by the parking - the underground parking signed 'Hotel Parking' is not affiliated with the hotel and costs a fortune. Although the staff will tell you this at check-in, there is every chance you won't use the check-in as you're warned by text message that 'time is running out' to check-in on-line
