La Rose de Ducey welcomes you to a beautiful setting where nature and heritage meet, between Brittany and Normandy, just a short distance from Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, in an area steeped in history.
This elegant 19th-century Norman residence, a former manor house built from local stone, is home to a fully renovated 4-star holiday cottage designed to accommodate up to 4 guests in comfort.
Located right in the centre of Ducey-Les Chéris, the cottage combines the charm of a character property with the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants. A public electric vehicle charging station is also available in the car park approximately 15–20 metres from the property. It is a peaceful and welcoming retreat, ideal for a few relaxing days as well as for exploring Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, Normandy and neighbouring Brittany.
The ground floor features a spacious, bright and comfortable living room, a dining area and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Large windows offer pleasant views over the landscaped, flower-filled garden. A small private terrace also allows you to make the most of fine weather in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Upstairs, two welcoming double bedrooms are fitted with high-quality bedding to ensure comfort and restful nights. The entire cottage has been arranged with warmth, elegance and attention to detail, in keeping with the atmosphere of this family home.
Staying at La Rose de Ducey also means enjoying the garden and its seasonal blooms: roses, camellias, rhododendrons, fuchsias and other plants create a colourful, peaceful and ever-changing setting throughout the year. The garden is very much part of the charm of the property and contributes to the feeling of a true break from everyday life.
Ducey is an excellent base from which to discover the region: Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay of course, but also Avranches, Granville, the coastal landscapes of the Manche department, and the first sights of Brittany within easy reach.
Nathalie & Laurent welcome guests to La Rose de Ducey, either in their bed and breakfast rooms or in their 4-star holiday cottage. Of French-Indonesian heritage and a graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Nathalie gained ten years of experience in the hospitality industry in Southeast Asia and Paris. In 2018, she and her husband chose to settle in Ducey and return to the art of hospitality, transforming this family home over the years into a distinctive place to stay.
La Rose de Ducey is designed as an elegant, warm and peaceful retreat for guests wishing to discover Mont-Saint-Michel and the surrounding region while enjoying the charm of a genuine Norman home.

Pleasant and very relaxing stay

We recently stayed for four nights in a charming cottage, and it was a wonderfully pleasant and relaxing experience. The cottage itself was cozy, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The peaceful garden at the back made it an ideal retreat, with nature just outside the door, creating a tranquil atmosphere that was incredibly rejuvenating. One can easily forget that one side of the cottage was facing the main road. We would like to especially thank our host, Nathalie, who was very friendly and welcoming, ensuring everything was in place for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail, from the fully stocked kitchen to the thoughtful welcome touches. Overall, our time at the cottage was exactly what I needed—a serene escape from the everyday hustle. We left feeling refreshed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place close to Mont Saint Michel and central to exploring many other locations in Normandy and east Brittany.

We stayed in Nathalie's beautiful Rose Cottage for a week as our main holiday in July 2026. Rose cottage is a well placed base to explore the Normandy region and is well placed for Mont St Michel and the wider Normandy region. We used it as a base to travel to the Normandy beaches as well some other destinations.Ducey is a lovely town with some good restaurants, boulangeries and some exploration reveals its own landmarks such as the chateau, as an EV driver there was some slow chargers in the local car park (free parking) as well as a 50Kwh charger in the local supermarket.Nathalie made us feel very welcome and her communication with us ahead of our stay was really good and helped us prepare for our week with ease.The cottage has everything you could need for a holiday and it felt like a home from home. It is surprisingly spacious, has a rustic charm and is quiet making it a relaxing stay.We would definitely book again if we were looking to holiday again in the Normandy region. If you chose to book to stay in the cottage you will not be disappointed.Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage Nathalie.

Le gite est un petit havre de tranquillité - confortable, propre, bien équipé! Nathalie est une hôte accueillante qui a pensé a tout pour faciliter le séjour ! Sa petite terrasse privative au pied du chêne d'Amérique est agréable... c'est une "activité" en soi d'écouter les oiseaux qui s'y rassemblent en fin de journée ! Il est idéalement situé pour découvrir le Mont St Michel.

Wir wurden zu Beginn von Natalie, der Vermieterin, durch die Räume geführt und bekamen alles erklärt, dabei war sie sehr freundlich und hochprofessionell. Während unserer 10 Tage blieb sie völlig im Hintergrund, obwohl sie gleich nebenan wohnt und dort im Haupthaus auch noch weitere Zimmer vermietet. Über Whatsapp blieben wir in Kontakt, alles sehr dezent und unaufdringlich.Zur Wohnung: einfach herrlich. Eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit Essbereich und Blick in den Garten, einfach traumhaft! Das Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer waren stilvoll eingerichtet, gemütlich und alles wirkte heimelig.Darüberhinaus war die gesamte Wohnung blitzblank sauber!Kurze Wege in den Ort zum Bäcker, zu Restaurants, in Boutiquen und jeden Dienstag zum Markt (unbedingt besuchen!).Dazu das wunderbare Angebot an Reisezielen in der Nähe, egal ob Städte oder Strände oder eben Mont St. Michel, das von hier gleich früh morgens besucht werden kann (so früh wie möglich !!!), weil es quasi vor der Türe liegt.Diese Wohnung ist ein kleines Paradies, in dem wir uns 10 Tage lang pudelwohl gefühlt haben und in dem wir gerne noch länger geblieben wären.Vielen lieben Dank, liebe Natalie, es war fantastisch!Sandra, Greta und Lukas

Nathalie und ihr Ehemann haben da ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Flair des 19. Jahrhunderts mit der Technik der Moderne, eingebettet in einem kleinen Landschaftsgarten. Alles perfekt organisiert -gerne wieder ;-)

Ferienhaus von Madam Natalie

Madam Natalie ist eine gute Gastgeberin. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für kulturelle Unternehmungen, aber auch für Badeurlaub. Es gibt viele schöne Strände in der näheren Umgebung und lebt ruhig und idyllisch in einem wunderschönen, individuell eingerichteten Haus. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Week-end très agréable

Gîte décoré avec goût, très fonctionnel, une très bonne literie et au calme disposant d'une belle luminosité et d'un beau jardin avec un espace privatif. Emplacement idéal pour visiter le Mont Saint Michel et sa baie, avec des commerces accessibles à pieds et des restaurants proposant la livraison le soir pendant le couvre feu. Nathalie, la propriétaire se montre bienveillante et reste à votre disposition.
