The room we chose was compact but we'll equipped, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Service from the DuHomes team from the moment we booked until time to leave was excellent. The location of the property was ideal for taking in the Old Town Dubrovnik literally just a couple of minutes walk from Buza Gate.

Kaleta House has no reception desk, no replenishments of things like coffee, room cleaning, all the things you’d expect from a hotel. It’s just a collection of rooms with the basics in a prime location, which almost makes up for the lack of services. Once you arrive, make sure you coordinate with the staff well because if you don’t have a working phone, you’ll have a problem unless you arrive right when you tell them (since they meet you at the room and there’s no reception). This accommodation isn’t really a hotel but more like a collection of rooms, a guest house, airbnb or anything you want to call it except a hotel.

The location was 100 step of stairs of the Main Street and they were not easy stairs uneven ,difficult to walk.I stayed for7 nights and got fresh towels,however the room and the bathroom was not cleaned. The checkout time was 10,couldn’t stay longer and the reception ,to leave the luggage was down the 100stairs,then up with the luggage bc the airport transport was the upper level. I went for a final walk in town got back at 9.40, the cleaning crew was there already. The place was so loud every night they woke me up, other renters? Maybe sometime from the outside.
