We arrived at the designated time, the apartment appeared deserted with messy patio and a bag of garbage hanging on the wall; no key, no one to greet us, shouted "Hello, anyone here" multiple times but no one showed up, we called the booking agent and were told they would contact the owner and get back to us within 5 minutes but never called us back, our car was pulled over in a dangerous spot waiting for owner to show up so we could unload our luggage, waited 30 minutes and decided to leave. We had already paid for the apartment but had to pay for another place to stay. Would not recommend this apartment.

A mess from start to finish. Firstly, FYI, the apartment is located about 6 flights of stairs above the road, just a minor inconvenience, but it got worse from there. The property appeared to be deserted. The patio didn't look at all like the picture on VRBO, with leaves and broken branches on the ground and patio furniture, and a bag of garbage hanging on the wall. I knocked on the door, no answer. Knocked on the window, no answer. Called out "HELLO! ANYBODY HERE?", several times, no answer. No key to be found. I walked back down the 6 flights of stairs to where my car was pulled over to the side of the one-way street with cars whizzing by, too close for comfort since there were no real parking spaces to pull into. I called DIRECT BOOKER, who had booked the apartment through VRBO. I explained the situation to a man who first put me on hold while he "contacted the owner". When he came back on the line he said that he had "elevated the situation" and would call me back within 5 minutes. No one from Direct Booker ever called me back. After waiting 30 minutes while being parked in a dangerous spot alongside the road waiting for a call, we simply left. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

De accommodatie ligt op slechts 300 meter van de oude stad, waardoor deze gemakkelijk te voet te verkennen is. Het inchecken verliep vlot en het ontbijt op het terras met het prachtige uitzicht was heerlijk. Na een lange dag sightseeing was het altijd weer ontspannend om hier terug te keren.

Wij hadden een heel aangenaam verblijf in Dubrovnik. De kamer was niet super groot, maar er was alles wat je nodig hebt. Het uitzicht was fantastisch. We moesten wel wat klimmen, maar dat wisten we vooraf. Het appartement ligt ook centraal. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een welkomstdrankje bij aankomst. We hadden nog wat suiker te kort en wanneer we dit vroegen, werd dit direct in orde gemaakt. Dankjewel!
