I would have given the Morrison 5 stars all the way but for a major hick- up at the start of our stay. We arrived at the check in time of 15:00 but the rooms were not ready. The staff could not estimate when they would be ready. We waited. Eventually after more than one and a half hours. We finally got into our rooms messing up our short stay schedule. The only other fly in the ointment was when I arrived home 70 euros had been retained out of the 200 euro deposit. Contacting the Morrison this was said to be use of the minibar which none of had used. Also this issue was not raised when we checked out. Since then this has been resolved amicably with a full refund and an apology. This the second time I have stayed at the Morrison. I still really like it; the staff were great and it is a superb location for Dublin.

Three star only because of the location. Walkable to everything Old Town, Jameson, Guinness etc…. The only thing you are paying for with this hotel is the location and the great fact that the rooms have A/C which we needed on our trip in August. They put us in a room with view of scaffolding without letting us know. For the price of this room there should have been some notification. Aweful view and definitely not 5 star service at all.

Lovely hotel. Perfect area to enjoy fabulous restaurants and bars, shopping! Fabulous breakfast and breakfast room! The staff was beyond wonderful. The only thing missing is that I never received my bill. I had to rush out to the airport, and the girl at the front said she’d email my bill. Still haven’t received it. (If there’s any help you can provide with this, I’d really appreciate it.)

Fantastic People & Great Location

This is my second stay at this hotel on the same trip and I'm blown away at how wonderful the front desk staff is. They are more than friendly. Upon our first meeting they were warm, engaging and abundantly helpful, storing bags, securing tours, providing directions and then offering us all water. Every time we come and go (and return), they make us feel like we are home. Honestly, I've never experienced such a warm, hospitable and efficient front desk and bellman crew. Great people, great location and an exceptional place to stay! Thank you Valerie and team for making our stay memorable.
