Beautiful property. Wifi was not great in our room. Good location for Temple Bar but a bit loud as everyone leaves at night. Expected though for the area. Would stay again though as staff was great and it is a beautiful well located hotel. Typical European sized rooms (small).
The room was nice, but the bathroom designer should be sent back to architectural school. The bed was comfortable, but unless you like something akin to a bag of sand, I’d suggest bringing your own pillow. The staff were delightful, and special kudos to the world’s best doorman.
Convenient location for tourists. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to visit. The bathrooms were well- sized and very clean. Good counter space for my toiletries and good lighting for applying my makeup.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The location is great it’s close to the temple bar area, Dublin castle, Trinity College, Molly Malone statue and most of the tours I did were within walking distance. The only downside is the rooms are small and limited closet space.
This has become my favorite hotel in Dublin. This hotel is located in the perfect area to walk to Temple Bar, Grafton St., Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Christ Church and so much more. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The restaurant serves great food. I highly recommend this hotel!
The location couldn’t be faulted, the staff are friendly and efficient, the condition of the hotel and room was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The only downright is the size of
Terrific boutique hotel in Dublin. We bookended our trip here. Conveniently located, staff friendly and professional.

Very cute decor. The area is vibrant and close to Temple Bar and Trinity College. The rooms are not large but that seems fairly typical for downtown Dublin.
The room was great, small but perfect for two people. Bar was amazing, staff was SO friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here if we return to Dublin. Great location, walking distance from SO much. 10/10 stay!
The hotel is located in the heart of the city and in easy walking distance of attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were well furnished. The food was first class, and the breakfasts provided a good start to your day exploring Dublin.
This hotel was just beautiful! Great location just a block from Temple Bar. The staff greeted us at the door and John helped us with our bags. We asked for early check in and we waited a short time and gave us our room. The room was a twin. Nice size as well. I loved that we could hook up my Netflix. We ate in the restaurant that last night were there. It was lovely. I would recommend the Merchantile to anyone that wants be in the city center
We had a wonderful time at this hotel! We were able to enjoy lots of Dublin sites within walking distance and then had a few drinks I. The Mercantile bar before turning in. Great ambiance! We made a mistake with parking and had an early check out. The individual at the front desk was so helpful and really went out of his way to help us.
very clean hotel awesome vibes with wonderful staff. the hotel looked exactly like the pictures which was nice sometimes they don’t. my only issue was the windows are so thin that it was very hard to sleep with all the street noise. i had to wear headphones lol.
Super cute stay. As we walked around Dublin and looked at other hotels it only further confirmed how grateful we were to be staying at the Mercantile. The bar and restaurant on the first floor was amazing!
