I think this was a great location, very walkable and close to everything while still quiet. I think the rooms are confusing a bit, our first stay we stayed on the road side and it was pretty sound proof but the second stay, we were in the harcourt wing, which while very nice, was confusing for some older folks in our group to find. The room itself is a 5/5 - Air con works great and the beds and pillows were the comfiest we had in Ireland. Shower products are nice and rain shower was spectacular. The onsite cocktail bar was great with great service and unique, fun cocktails. The few cons- the breakfast was very overpriced and yes, it is a buffet but I did not find any of the food worth $25 euro a person. I would not add this to your stay unless you have no want to adventure outside the hotel. The staff was hit or miss- some super friendly and awesome and some a bit off putting. My husband went to use the toilets in the main lobby and had a staff member rush in and accuse him of vaping, which my husband has never done - it was a bit weird to be a paying guest x2 and have random accusations based on a "sensor" in the mens toilet (which also btw have cameras). I love the "green" aspect of the hotel but it was a bit creepy at times to have the whole hallway dark and while I know the hotel was quite safe, it did feel scary to walk alone in the hallways as it was dark until you walked.

This was a nice surprise! Hadn't planned on staying in Dublin for the night and so glad I landed at The Green. Stunning and comfortable interiors. GREAT food!!! Lovely staff!

When we checked in we were told they had no parking and we had to drive up the street with confusing turns and unreadable street signs to park in the dark in a large parking garage. Then we had to walk 15 minutes back and got turned around and had to ask a taxi to drive us back. When we left we had to walk back up the hill to the parking garage and took 10 extra minutes to find our car. Then, when checking out we had to pay 43 euro, even though the hotel said they validate the ticket. My sister and I are in our 70s and absolutely did not feel comfortable walking in the city in the dark of night and getting lost. I had a difficult time finding the garage and had to drive around the city because of the streets with no signs, some on buildings that you can’t see. They should’ve armed us about the parking situation when we made the reservations.

The room was a good size and had a nice city view. The breakfast in the morning was tasty and a good value with your stay. Walking distance to both shopping and some delicious pub food. Only downside is if you have a rental car be prepared to park at the parkade in the mall that is a 7-10 min walk away. Staff were great holding our luggage while we grabbed our car so we weren’t rolling our bags through the streets of Dublin.

It was all excellent EXCEPT our room didn’t get cleaned once in a 3-night stay; the first night was our failure to operate the tricky red/green light system; the second night we put it on green but still didn’t get cleaned though we did get fresh towels on request. Great breakfast.
