We stayed here for two nights after our arrival in Dublin with our kids (age 3 and age 6). This hotel feels upscale, while still being comfortable and accessible for families. The room was large and clean with great views of the park. The staff were friendly at the front desk and the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious. The best part of this hotel is the lovely outdoor courtyard where my kids enjoyed running around and we enjoyed lounging around and relaxing. The hotel is also very centrally located and we were able to walk to St Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, Guinness Factory, and Temple Bar. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Stauntons on the Green is a lovely, charming place to stay while in Dublin. It’s very conveniently located near the park, which is directly across the street. The park itself is gorgeous —quiet and lovely in the mornings, then scattered with young people either solo, couples or groups —which makes it a beautiful, social gathering place. You will find a bustling area along Dawson Street of quaint shops, restaurants, as well as a high-end retail stores, buskers on Grafton Street next to Dawson Street. At the end these streets is Trinity College, which has dramatic old buildings and majestic architecture. One of the best things I did in Dublin was the guided tour called The Little Museum of Dublin located in this same area on the north side of St. Stephen’s Green Park, I loved my stay at Stauntons on the Green and would highly recommend it to others!

We stayed at this lovely hotel for one night when in Dublin. The room was very large, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. It was also very well appointed. It is located right across the street from St. Stephen's Green Park which if very nice and it is very walkable to many of Dublin's great offerings. The only negatives in our opinion would be that our room was on the front of the hotel, street side, and the road is quite busy so we heard a lot of road noise throughout the night. There is also no onsite parking requiring the car to be parked at a car park that was a 10 min walk away.

Great location in lovely historic building and square, with lovely courtyard garden, great breakfasts and very nice and friendly staff. Rooms and corridors etc were small, but it is a city centre location. A little more detail on maintenance is needed Eg our loo handle was broken, the bathroom shelf was miniscule and the towel rack was loose so we could not keep toiletries in the bathroom, the mini safe was not secured to the wardrobe at all so just a very light metal box that anyone could carry away, we had a single velux window in the room which had a view to the park, but had no blind or curtains for privacy or to exclude light at dawn of 4am.
