So not quite sure how to say this— but people were having s*x directly outside of our room, in the hallway. I don’t know how this was even going on, and why there weren’t cameras or staff allowed them to go up there, but definitely was not something I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was fine— definitely would not stay again though.

Lovely old building clean rooms but very budget bathroom very small and very old. We was on the first floor where there is 3 night clubs below loud thumping music until 3am screaming people pouring out the clubs

Staff was polite and let us keep our bags there while we went sightseeing after check out.There is a nightclub downstairs so be prepared for noise. Ear plugs are a must. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable enough. For location and price not horrible.

This hotel was stifling hot in the room. The window only opened a couple of inches making any sort of airflow impossible. They had a fan in the hallway that we put in our room but it did not help. We had a terrible sleep given how hot the room was. The noise we could live with (they provide earplugs), but the heat was outrageous. We are grateful we were only there for 1 night. Would not recommend this hotel

Needs improvement

Visiting several sites in Dublin and nearly all of them were wonderful. The Russel Court hotel is incredibly noisy in the evening with loud music, a throbbing beat, and people shouting. I tried the ear plugs but woke up in the middle of the night as it hurt my ear. It was also stuffy but only one window could be opened about 3 inches. Staff did provide a fan, which help drown out the noise at night. In the morning when I went to have coffee/croissant downstairs I was very aware of cleaning solution smell as the staff was busy mopping the floors. Hard to enjoy coffee with that smell in the air. Note- staff was very friendly.

Very nice hotel in a central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be prepared for a noisy evening as a club is located below but ear plugs are provided.

Good location but noisy as advertised

The hotel was good. The basement disco was noisy (as stated) with inebriated patrons on the sidewalk yelling at 1am on Tues morning

Terrible. Always read the reviews. This place is surrounded by a nightclub and it’s impossible to sleep. I had to leave at midnight! Amazed how they are allowed to operate as a hotel. The noise is unbearable and the lobby is basically awaiting ground for people to go clubbing.
