Beautiful setting, very quiet and refreshing. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The Redwood Bar, where we ate a few dinners was good and reasonable, but I wouldn't recommend the breakfast though - nice, but overpriced.

A lovely historical building in a luscious garden setting . Welcoming staff throughout. No Air Con in room so staff helpfully gave us a fan. The windows can only be opened a few inches (due to security locks) which was an issue on a very hot humid night.

Quaint place historic and quiet. Tea kettle didn’t work and shower head was a bit of a problem. If you’re in the area it’s a worthwhile stay.
