We were delighted to be back again in the Grand Hotel - the renovations have made such a massive difference to the quality of a stay there. From the beautiful bedrooms to the gorgeous lobby (which really is Grand now!) to the delicious food, everything is 5 stars! Whether it is to celebrate a Big Birthday (we brought our family there for my 70th) or a cosy 24 hour break for ourselves, the Grand is a winner!

Could perhaps have a think about more than one coffee machine that makes cappuccino, latte etc for the amount of people at Breakfast as queues can build quickly. Everything was amazing, the staff, food, service and the decor is fantastic. I have stayed a few times over the years and never enjoyed the Grand, however what a turnaround from the new owners have taken it over.
