We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Hotel. The hotel lives up to its name – elegant, welcoming, and beautifully located right on the seafront. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were warm, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the bar and restaurant offered delicious meals with a lovely atmosphere.

Great stay at the end of our Ireland trip. If you visit Malahide there is no other choice. Excellent shower, beds, big rooms, hotel bar etc! Just beautiful

There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. (We stayed in August). That being said, I’m giving 5 stars because the staff was incredible, gave us fans, opened windows where able. I’m surprised with the beautiful renovations that A/C was not installed. There are some hot days in Summer time. I will not hesitate to stay at the Grand again. Although quickly walkable into town a long block away, it’s far enough to be quiet and the coastal location is breathtaking.

Lovely hotel in idyllic setting, but unfortunately there were renovations being carried out in the hotel which I wasn’t made aware of when I made my booking. It made my stay a little uncomfortable as it was noisy, unsafe and inconvenient at times.

This hotel is a living museum of history going back to King Henry VIII, Anne Bolelyn, Queen Elizabeth I. Not just historic but conveniently situated near Heathrow Airport it has become my regular stay over place before my next trip. The staff and amenities are excellent. The food selection is delicious! The cocktails unique. Highly recommend this hotel.

No air con in the room and the fan just was not quite enough. Hotel was beautiful including the bar restaurant. Unfortunately the “spa” was tired and was like a public leisure centre. The gym also tired but large.

This property was under heavy construction, which I didn’t know about when I booked. It was very affordable, and I really it will probably be way out of my price range when it’s done. The hammering went until 10 PM, the elevator didn’t work, and there was a hole where a (much needed) refrigerator would have been in the room. But it was really nice, in a great neighborhood.
