Our daughter is studying in Dublin and the property was need her student housing. The house is not “refurbished,” as stated in the listing. It is partially redone, but in many areas the walls are dirty and there are holes in the walls and ceiling, The heat cannot be controlled by guest, leading to a ridiculously warm house. The front door did not work from inside. Check in instructions said there was a QR code for the wifi. There was not. The password on the modem did not work and then the host remembered that another guest had figured out that the "l" in the password needed to be an "i". He let me know this and later blamed me for not using the correct password. The storage in two of the three bedrooms was completely full of the host's clothing. There was no binder with the essential information about the flat-somehting that is pretty standard for VRBOs- but when I had concerns the host, who lives in a time zone that is 8 hours behind Dublin, became nonresponsive (that's the language VRBO used when I contacted them--they could see our exchange on the app). There were no reviews for this listing but I didn't let this deter me because my I figured it was because it was a new listing. Ha. Joke's on me this time. I seek out old homes when traveling because I love the history. I treat these homes with great care. I am a stellar guest and have the reviews to prove it. Don't stay here.
