My husband and I booked a sea view room for a week. The check in process was easy and smooth. Our room was a smaller size but had a nice balcony and view of the sea. The bathroom is very small - only one of us could comfortably be in there at a time. The housekeeping kept the room stocked with coffee and water when service requested. There is a pickle ball court on site which people play until 9-10pm which can be heard from the room if you have your window open. There is also a club on site for people to have their fitness classes which makes the parking lot fill up quickly. I did not think to check but the hotel does not have A/C - heat only. Made the room hot at night even in October.

Breakfast during the week starts at 7:00. For some reason weekends are at 8:00. Had a stair leading into the narrow tub/shower. Food was very good. Nice variety. Staff was helpful and friendly.

For the most part staff was good. There seems to be an issue with Americans. Some staff were nice but clearly some didn’t want to help or were annoyed. First time in Ireland so maybe this is normal. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t go back. Food was great and a 15min walk to the dart(train) and a 30minute train ride to down town Dublin is great! Runs every 15min till 2330.

Badly in need of a renovation

the hotel is really run down, my bathroom reeked of mold, sheets were itchy, and the bathrooms off the main lobby were disgusting. On the good side, the food in the Dungeon was good and the in-room coffee was very good. And the proximity to great walks was unmatched. But the good doesn't outweigh the bad for me and I won's go back.
