We travel to Dublin 1-2 times a year, and the Clayton is always our go to. Convenient to city centre, clean, easy parking — and always such kind staff (we have two young kids and the staff, particularly those at breakfast are so friendly!)

Hotel in a lovely location close to bus stops that connect to the airport and city centre. Only a 20 minute walk to St Stephen’s Green. Reception staff helpful and room was adequate.

The shower barely had any hot water and there was no heat in the room. The shower was too small and the drain kept filling up while I was taking a shower. The woman at the front desk was rude and could have been a bit more accommodating when I arrived early. She was quick to tell me that I had to pay 50 euros extra to check in early instead of comping the early arrival like other hotels and allowing me to check in early. It was freezing outside and I basically walked around until it was time to check in. Also, the concierge was very cold and unhelpful.

Whilst the room was clean spacious and comfortable, there was no residents bar nor were we able to get room service to bring us a drink to our room which in my opinion is poor customer service.
