Disliked: Communication

Cancel due to floodings, not even partial refund

I live in Forlì Emilia Romagna in Italy and had to cancel my stay due to part of my house being flooded. I understand that there are terms to cancellations and was not expecting a full refund but some clemency....instead I received a hard no. Very disappointed.
