My party reserved a room to be closer to the airport and to rest before taking a late-night flight from Dubai. Upon arrival, I went to the front desk to give my name/passport to begin the check-in process. The lady sighed very loudly and rudely said "I cannot do ANYTHING until I have passports from everyone in your party". This was the start of the unprofessional behavior and tone that we experienced during our short time there. The security overseeing the property was speaking rudely to other patrons as they attempted to get carts and bring in their luggage (the front drive is a very short, narrow, circular drive). Once we got to the room, it was dark and some of the lighting did not work. The room had a musty smell, worn furniture, and the sofa couch had visible stains. We decided to check out of the hotel after less than an hour. We opted to just sit in the airport until it was time for our flight.

While it says opposite Terminal 3, you cannot walk there. The shuttle service is slow and stops at terminal 1 before dropping you off. It took me 30 minutes to get there. One I got to the hotel, everything was fine. In the morning, I arranged for a cab and it was much quicker. The staff were very nice.

Our flight got in super late and we just needed a place to drop bags and get some rest. I knew nothing about this place before I booked it. Much to our delight the staff was super friendly and professional. The room was on the small side but perfect for our needs. The only complaint was not much hot water. The absolute diamond was the complimentary breakfast buffet. I expected far less and was stunned by the amazing variety of food and beverages. Easily the breakfast would have come at a charge at home but was free. Very near to the airport. Highly recommended and I would stay here again.

I stayed on the 4th floor. I had a 20-hour layover, so I thought I would catch some sleep. They were doing construction everywhere, and it only said there was construction on the 3rd floor, but there is no fifth floor above the room I was staying in, and hammer banging above me. Don't stay there. The place looks like it is under construction, good breakfast. I paid 50usd in cash for an early check at 6:45 am and could only actually sleep for four hours. Doesn't look like the Holiday Inn, only the lobby looks nice.
