It’s ok if you like an old and dark hotel and old looking in general.. as soon as you wake out there’s so many cute shops and the men around it are extremely rude and pushy like it ruined my trip and every time I wanted to go out I was nervous to get harassed.. I will never stay again at this hotel again

The hotel set up is a little peculiar, with reception and guest rooms spread over different buildings within Dubai Old Village. But that just adds to the charm. The booked a Creek view room and loved it. The Creek view was a treat and the room offers a retro experience. I would certainly stay here again.

We stay at Al Seef every time we visit. I don’t know if a team can be anymore hospitable. Its lovely to have the shaded walk, water views and access, quaint Indiana Jones-esque room aesthetic and not in a cheesy theme park way. For a moment you feel your of another time.

Breakfast was good with many options. Room was comfortable and i like the interior design. I appreciated they refill enough water as it's too important staying in Dubai. It's easy to lost direction in the hotel + Bazaar area but the staff was helpful to show you the right way. 15-20 min to metro, if you don't want to in >40C, there were taxis waiting outside the hotel.

My weekend stay

This is a special hotel in a lovely location. I was travelling alone and was made to feel really welcome. I asked one of the restaurant staff about where to get a manicure and she walked me to the local salon which was next to the block that my room was in. The lay out of the hotel is beautiful…. The accommodation is dotted around the old town and there are golf buggy's to collect you and drop you off. If you want to experience a different side to Dubai I would recommend this beautiful hotel.
