After a rocky start, I would have to say the place was very homey. Like coming home and staying with family. Keep in mind that this is a bed and breakfast not a hotel. If you're not able to check in prior to the 9 pm deadline, contact the owners. They will work with you. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms are nice with a more vintage look. The bathrooms wall paper was peeling up where they met one another and they used clear packing tape to secure the seams which has now turned yellow. Rooms need some TLC to freshen them up. Outside of a few things I notice it was a nice place to stay.

Small family-owned B&B, and owner takes the time to get to know you. Rooms are old-fashioned but comfy if you like a no-nonsense stay without bells and whistles. Homemade breakfast is provided in the morning but the portions are pretty small. Pretty easy walk to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area.

I have been staying at "The Cozy" for years and have never been disappointed. The home is lovely, Richard and his mom (the breakfast lady) are very nice and friendly, and the house is situated in a nice walking neighborhood for leg-stretching after a drive.
