Solid budget option

The place is a bit weathered, but for the price it's a great value and covered all the essentials: safe, clean, shower, quiet room, great air conditioner, tv, mini fridge. The staff were friendly and gracious with me being a few minutes late to check in and out.

Linked the helpful lady who did her best to connect us to the internet. Also a pleasant surprise when we found a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. What we were less happy about was the smell of second hand smoke in the room, but were a little understanding because we know smoke and heat rises and smokers may have a little trouble climbing stairs (which there were only 16). And it's not like this hasn't happened to us before much worse. Thanks for the great night's stay! Mike and Shirley.

Check in took 1/2 hour. Desk was not staffed had to hit ring button. Still no answer. Had to call first phone #, no answer. Called 2nd phone number lady answered said he would be right down. No show, 15 min later called again, she said she will be there in 5 minutes there was an emergency. She finally showed up, then I had to pay for towels. 4 people in room, they only give 2 towels. Had to pay $4 for a set of towels. Also only allowed 2 rolls of toilet paper. We bought our own. Non smoking room, maintenance person in next room stood outside and smoked it came in through the air conditioner. It was cheap, and pretty clean - looks like they tried.
