Located on the north point of E Somes Road. This spacious 3400 square foot home faces north and has amazing sunrise and sunset views. A total of 285 feet of waterfront with a sandy beach, a shale stone shoreline and deep well boat dock. The 3 acre lot gives the feel of seclusion yet is near to all the conveniences of town. The paved drive and landscaped yard accent the beauty of this Island Treasure!
This piece of paradise has hardwood floors throughout and plenty of windows to soak up the beauty surrounding this home. The large kitchen, dining and living room feature an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, limestone fireplace and fantastic water views; Making this the perfect place to gather and enjoy each others company. The kitchen features an Aga cook stove, sub zero refrigerator, dishwasher, walk in pantry with convection microwave and wine cooler. The Dining area features a custom built log table with plenty of seating. Enjoy a game of pool while waiting for dinner or on a rainy day.
The main entrance of the home opens to a large four sided limestone fireplace with chess table, making this the perfect place for a fireside challenge. The den with adjoining half bath, features a large screen TV, surround sound and sectional pull out queen sofa for extra sleeping. The den has a water view. A new laundry room was installed this spring with new washer & dryer. This home has 4 Bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a half bath. The King Master with ensuite bath, limestone fireplace with seating area and day bed has a water view and direct deck access. Bedroom 2 features a custom built log queen bed with water view and direct deck access. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and faces the drive side of the home. Bedroom 4 has two custom built log bunkbeds.
The expansive deck across the entirety of the front waterside of this home makes for an exceptional location to enjoy all this home has to offer. A pergola covered deck off of the kitchen and dining room makes a perfect place to soak up the sun and adds to the elegance this home affords. If traveling with or renting a boat you may launch at Drummond Island Yacht Haven with an easy 5 minute boat ride to the house and it's deep well 4 boat dock.
Located close to the water's edge, the large sauna features a wood stove to melt the cares of the world away. The outdoor children's play center give additional opportunity to entertain the little ones. There are various outdoor games and a trampoline for guest use at this home.
Indoor Pool - For an additional fee of $500 guests can enjoy the indoor endless wave pool. With a pool reservation guests will have access to the pool room which is accessed from the house. The endless wave can be turned off so littles can enjoy.
This home comfortably sleeps 13 people. This home accepts pets with prior permission. The homeowner asks that you remove your shoes at the door.
If you are coming to Drummond Island to ride the trails, we ask that you respect the residents of this quiet neighborhood and travel the 25 mph speed limit. Please do not allow children to ride up and down the drive or Somes Road repeatedly.
