My wife and I stayed for two days at the Canyon Cabin, at Wooly Booger Inn at the end of September 2025. Our experience was excellent, and I have to give a huge thanks to our host, Steve, who gave us some indispensable advice for hitting the Bear Lake entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park before 7:00 AM, as I had goofed and missed making timed entry reservations. This was terrific advice, as the experience of seeing the sunrise over Bear Lake was unforgettable. Also, Steve's tip (actually insistence, haha!) on driving the Old Fall River Road was spot-on!

Zero complaints! We comfortably stayed here as a party of 6. The beds were super comfortable and the house gave us enough space to spread out and not be on top of each other. We spent a lot of time on the front porch or walking around the property to hang out by the river. The fire pit was also fantastic. The drive into down was only about 5 min, so very close to everything but also out in nature. Best of both worlds.

Overall we had a good experience staying in the Marmot cabin. Yes, it is small, and my wife and I had to sometimes dance around each other but it was fully expected from the description. It is a very cute cabin, perfect for solo trips or couples. It is a very short walk to the river and we could here the river from our cabin. Estes Park is just a short 3 minute drive and either of the RMNP entrances are 15 minutes away. I would say the only negative thing (although some people may love this) is virtually no cell reception and WIFI on site was almost non-existent from the cabin.

The stay was great. There was no hot water in our shower and the toilet in our cabin was very touchy and would often run continuously after flushing. A giggle of the handle cured the problem but if guests were not cognizant of the issue it would waste a good amount of water

We enjoyed our stay so much—we will be back. I do wish the shower would have had hot water but my overall stay was great! Loved the honor system this property runs on. The hot tub was so relaxing!
