Pirgos House (tower house).
Our holiday home "Spiti Pirgos" in Greece is an original stone tower with a pleasant indoor climate, a wonderful "open-air roof terrace" and a wonderful panoramic view of the sea, mountains and river landscape behind the house.
Particularly suitable for sporty and dynamic individualists, possibly with children or babies, but not suitable for small children who are just learning to walk or have learnt to walk!
We offer you a total of three individual holiday homes in Greece, 200 m from the crystal-clear sea, to rent individually, for couples or families (2-4, 4-5 or 6 pers.) for a relaxing holiday under private German management.
The tower house has 4 floors, each with a floor area of 25 square metres, which are connected by a spiral staircase. On the ground floor is the bedroom with bathroom (shower/WC and washing machine) and access to a spacious terrace and garden. Above this, in a gallery-like mezzanine, there is a sofa bed for 1 - 2 more people and a small "workplace" for writing, painting and reading or similar.
Above this is the kitchen-living room with a cosy, brick bench and open fireplace (wood available) as well as access to a small balcony where you can have breakfast or dine sheltered from the wind if the west wind (Majestros) should blow too strongly. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher and large fridge with freezer compartment. Hot and cold running water of course! Plenty of crockery, bed linen and towels (except beach towels).
Further up the spiral staircase, you reach the literal highlight of the house: the roof terrace, which is open on all sides and invites you to sit, chat, meditate or just look around day and night. It is never too hot up here, as there is usually a light breeze, and the marvellous panoramic view from up here has its own special charm at any time of day or night. When the westerly wind is strong, simply lower the transparent awnings and feel like you're in a conservatory.
