Gem of a pub and B&B

What a lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and breakfast was excellent. The room was a little tired and a little small, but good value for money. Would certainly visit again.

The breakfast was included in our booking, I thought it would just be a continental one but we could chose anything from the menu. We were actually the only people staying on a cold night in winter but the staff made an effort to make us welcome. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the chef made the best scrambled eggs I've ever had with chopped chives that really elevated the dish. Bar and meal on the night we arrived were also excellent. Room comfortable and warm, shower hot and with good water pressure. Thoroughly recommend this place, a lovely traditional British pub.

A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was absolutely amazing. Thea was fantastic and really made the experience special. A lovely stay at the greyhound.Staff really helpful special mention for Thea who was bright and cheerful every morning. Breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our dinner one evening. Had lovely weather so able to sit outside under the grape vines. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
