"Lovely picturesque setting and very convenient. Our room was spacious but the bed was very uncomfortable - hard and lumpy as were the pillows. I think it’s probably due for a refurbishment. The breakfast was ok but not good for celiac or vegetarians. The spa was also closed for refurbishment. "

"Our family of 5 stayed for a little over a week over the Christmas holiday. When we arrived there was a lovely welcome package awaiting us, all necessities were laid out and the home was cozy and warm. It was a wonderful way to start our stay in a gorgeous corner of Ireland. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything one could need, including non-perishables in abundance, and if the weather had been more clement, we would have taken advantage of the outdoor patio and large yards. With two living rooms and plenty of comfortable seating, everyone had space to read or relax after hikes in the region. We would definitely stay here again as it is a great launching spot for walks in both South and North Mayo and the cities of Newport and Westport are both well-worth visiting."
