When recalled desk they said would check with manager & call us back. When called back offered to have us move to another room but we were already in bed by the time call was returned so did not move.

Checked in. No problem. Got to the room and found out there was a shower, but no bathtub. We prefer a bathtub, but did not specify that we wanted one. Asked reception if we could get a room with a bathtub and we were told that we could not. We had reserved the room through Hotels.com/Expedia and this was the room we reserved and the only room we could have. It would just be too hard to change the room. Kind of sounds like BS to me, but whatever. We took it, but we’re not happy about it. The parking lot was nearly empty at nearly 10:00 pm, so the facility did not appear to be anywhere near full, and surely would have had a room with a bathtub available. So this policy appears to be for the convenience of Comfort Suites or Hotels/Expedia, and certainly not for the convenience of the user, or maybe just for the convenience of the Reception staff. Am considering dropping Hotels.com/Expedia and Comfort Suites from our travel planning.

Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The free breakfast was pretty good and parking is ample. The area seams safe. My only real complaint was the elevator was out and I was disappointed at the staff’s response to older visitors who needed help with luggage. The older visitors were already checked in with luggage upstairs and did not get any help coming back down the stairs. The person at the front desk Sunday evening indicated there would be help, but Monday morning people were being told there was no staff to assist.

The room was spotless. The bed was quite comfortable. It was quiet and we slept great. One problem, which we didn’t report was that the heater never seemed to work correctly. Breakfast was very good. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. I would stay there again.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The one area I think was excellent was the breakfast food and setup. The food choices were good and the egg omelets were really nice. Also the Halloween decorations were very nice. The customer service, on the other hand, was not as it should have been. When we called for help to have someone reset our TV signal they came to fix it but with an attitude of annoyance. Then, on the afternoon of our last night there, the elevator broke. It remained out of service for that afternoon and evening and still was out of service the next morning. For those of us who are seniors having to climb two or three flights of stairs is not easy, especially when having to bring luggage down two or three floors. When we asked if there was someone to help us with our luggage we were told there was no one who could help, especially since it was the weekend. I understand that getting elevator repair people to come on a weekend is difficult but the facility should have someone on staff during that time to help bring down luggage.

The TV kept losing signal and the remote wouldn’t work. When we went to the front desk, they said that’s just how it is. The elevators were broke the whole time we were there. The coffee was like water. The staff was not very helpful.
