Clear sea, untouched nature, plently of hours of sunshine, wild and hidden bays are what makes this small place on Krk special. If you want to cool down a bit and treat yourself to an adventure vacation, you must visit the Biserujka cave, which is located near Šilo. Who knows, maybe you'll find gold there that was hidden by pirates, according to legend. The Adriatic Sea is attractive for diving and in Šilo it could be even more interesting because the wreck of the Greek ship "Peltatstis" is also hidden there.

Extraordinary journey!

We had a pleasant stay at Lydia’s apartment. Check-in was straightforward, with clear communication from the agency and a warm welcome from the host, who showed us the private parking space. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped for a short stay, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. The beach is only a short walk away and is perfect for families with young children thanks to its shallow, calm water. The only small drawbacks were the 4 pm check-in, 10 am check-out, and the lack of an oven, which would make longer stays and family cooking easier. Šilo itself is a quiet, relaxing place, though shops and restaurants are quite expensive, so we’d recommend stopping at a larger supermarket before arriving. Overall, Lydia was a friendly host and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
