Brushmakers Cottage has been thoughtfully prepared for your comfort, with plenty of space for six, yet still providing a comfy and cosy cottage feel. This semi-detached cottage is situated over three floors offering plenty of space for families and friends to spread out. On the ground floor you’ll find the living room, perfect for spending evenings snuggled by the wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen to prepare some delicious meals and a separate dining room with patio doors leading to the enclosed garden. The first floor is home to two double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities. The second floor lays claim to a twin bedroom.



Situated on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, in the valley of the River Waveney, you’ll find plenty to explore in the local area. Diss is centrally located to visit the Norfolk Broads, the Suffolk and North Norfolk coast and is just 20 miles away from Norwich, with its famous mere, one of the deepest natural inland lakes, set within lush green parkland. There is much to see and do in Norwich, with its traditional and farmers markets, independent boutique shops and antiques and collectables at the local auction room. For those looking for history, head to Bressingham Steam and Gardens, just a 10-minute drive away. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Had a wonderful stay at Brushmakers Cottage. The property is full of character and well presented; with the town centre of Diss being a short walk away with plenty of local amenities. Great base to be exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk.

This is a lovely week equipped cottage with a lovely log fire, it has everything you need to make yo

This is a lovely week equipped cottage with a lovely log fire, it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Although we didn't do any exploring we did however have the fish and chips from the chip shop 5 mins away and it was lovely. There are three supermarkets within close proximity of the cottage. Would definitely recommend this to a anyone looking for a comfortable relaxing time.

Excellent place to stay but not for people dodgy on their feet as stairs a bit steep.Only one negative if sleeping on top floor and need the bathroom it's a long way down to the toilet so would recomend heavy sleepers for top floor bedroom. If a toilet could added it would be perfect.Overall rating 5/5.

Super 5 star property

We had a lovely time, so comfortable, lovely little homely extras. The cottage is located in a great place to be able to explore Diss fully without the need of a car. Will definitely be revisiting. Thank you so much to Andrew for hosting such a fab home.
