Located on a small, cosy park with a cosy eatery around the corner. With three bedrooms, cosy living room and fully equipped kitchen, this is the place for peace, comfort and sunny holiday days!

Dirkshorn and its surroundings form an ideal setting for a relaxing and active holiday, especially for those who love cycling, hiking or trips with the family. From the village, you can walk or cycle straight into nature, past vast polders, colourful flower fields and picturesque villages. For fanatical walkers, there are routes such as the Groot-Frieslandpad or the walking network of the Kop van Noord-Holland, which takes you through the vast landscape and along small waters and dykes.

For families with children, there is also plenty to do. Nearby you will find Van Blanckendaell Park with animals and a playground, or Land van Fluwel where children can play among the flowers. On warm days, a visit to swimming pool De Veersloot in the village itself is a fine option, with slide and paddling pool. A little further away is recreation area Geestmerambacht, where you can swim, sail, picnic or play by the water.

Culture lovers are also well catered for. A day trip to Alkmaar, with its famous cheese market and cosy streets, is always worthwhile. Other atmospheric cities such as Hoorn and Enkhuizen are within driving distance and offer museums, harbours and waterside terraces. Those who prefer to stay nearby can enjoy peace and quiet on the park itself, with a walking forest, playing meadows, a fish pond and even a golf course.
