Avoid at all costs! Terrible hotel, not 4* and lucky to be 2*
This was the worst place we stayed on our trip in Sri Lanka and probably the worst on my travels around Asia. The service was lousy at all points (meals served without cutlery, wrong food delivered, bland over salted food), the room was filthy and completely worn (filthy bathroom, torn curtains, stained towels, insects running around, stained pillows, dead bugs on spare pillows). We had them arrange travel and then put through a call to me from the taxi company when we asked to change car (it wasn't big enough for our luggage), only to have him shout and be rude. The 'business centre' was in fact the hotel office and you just sit at someone's desk with incredibly slow internet (if any) and then they have the audacity to try and charge for it.
Rooms were uninviting, sterile and under-equipped. While we did get moved to another room, this still wasn't worth the money we paid. If you've booked already, I would strong recommend cancelling and getting your money back. Utterly dreadful hotel and a total waste of money.
