Friendly but tired hotel!

Cody at the front desk checked us in and was extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests. The lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel is very old and needs to be renovated and updated. The towels were in need of replacing, there was no wall thermostat, furnishings old, no USB outlets in the rooms, electrical issues (when using the treadmill a circuit blew, the treadmill stopped and I was in a dark fitness room), when using the waffle maker at breakfast it blew the circuit breaker again. It has only 2 floors, but there are no elevators for the 2nd floor, pool area and fitness room look worn down. Staff were friendly, unfortunately the hotel needs to be updated.

Room smelled like smoke

Room smelled like smoke, we let them know as there is a 200 cleaning charge for smoking. We didn't move because there were lots of families with young kids running in the halls and at the pool and the room we had was quiet. The pool was empty the second night (weeknight) we were there and nice. But too busy to use the other nights. Close to downtown area with food and short 20-25 minute drive to national park south entrance.

Drove up and noticed the sidding on the building was a little older...so it made be slightly nervous. Walked in and the hotel was all new! SO NICE! Complementary cookies and water! Great Coffee bar! Staff was so welcoming and friendly! Coukdnt be more happy! Rooms were super clean and quiet! Great place! Will stay again!

No elevator. If any issues climbing stairs with or without carrying luggage, make sure you request a 1st floor room. Bed were nice but the platform that the mattress sits on is pretty high! Also has metal edges that are exposed so I scraped my legs on it a few times.

Professional staff at check in. Clean room. Stayed here before. Comfy beds. Worth every penny. I think they upgraded the property and rooms. Perfect to stay at if you plan to go to the Medora Musical 32 miles to the west. Easy access to I-94. Pool area looks nice. Great stay!
