House not available

I booked this house 3 months in advance just to be notified 10 days prior to my trip that is no longer available. I was offered another house that was smaller for the same price. It was too late to find anything else that would accommodate all of us so I accepted the offer. The location of the new house was good but there was a damp moldy smell coming from the basement , floor in the bedroom dusty , not enough towels…. I’m not sure if I want to book with VRBO again.
