The tv did not work and the front staff seemed irritated when asked about it and complained to my child when they asked for a blanket for the pullout in the room. As if it’s his issue that the blankets are not already in the room

Breakfast was great!! Variety was very good. Staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and close. Rooms were clean, towels well stocked. The only problem was with the weather, the satellite was down so we had no tv for our stay. Otherwise I would highly recommend Comfort Suites

The room itself was very nice. However, the heat had been turned off. So when we walked in the room, we could see our breath. It took about 3 hrs for the room to finally heat up to comfortability. There should be attention to this matter being how cold it is outside.

For the price I was 100% not impressed. Im moving my family to Southgate so I've had to stay in a lot of hotels in the area(Allen Park as well)through the whole house buying process. All the hotels being in this same price point. This place was in need of updates badly & by far not great in comparison. First weird thing was the side entry door was broken, just stayed cracked & unlocked(safety hazard). Once in the room I first noticed that the dresser drawers were broken & just stayed open, same with the side table. The grout in the bathroom was all old, broken & dinghy so dirt was accumulated in the cracks. I wanted to call the front desk to ask about vending machines or snack area but there was no labels on the old phone to even know how to call. Once actually finding the snack area it was a small closet type setup with a tiny window in a door to make transactions like at an unsavory gas station. The night time staff wasn't very pleasant as well. The breakfast was ran by a sweet staff member & the food was ok, very limited but ok. Im sorry to say that I would not stay here again or recommend it. At the price point there is far nicer hotels near by!
