Meh...

AC in the room smelled strongly of mold/mildew when running (room319). Dirty bathroom towels were left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Ice machine on 3rd floor didnt work. Elevator was broke. Bring ear plugs because you can hear fireworks from Tigers stadium and all the street noise on the 3rd floor Front desk staff was friendly.

The property smelled of smoke, eventhough its a non smoking property. The elevator was not working & the blinds in the room (ground floor) could not close the entirely. As a solo traveler, I did not feel safe at all. The front desk was very accomodating in trying to make stay comfortable, but I couldnt take the smokey scent. My refund was also processed in a timely fashion.

I want to start by saying while I didn't meet Ms./Mrs. Yvette in person she was kind to me over the phone when I called with questions. She even waived my deposit which honestly is the only reason once arriving I stayed after entering the room. The location can't be beat. It's really perfect if you have events to attend downtown. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't rate it. Now the facility. The outside will make you think the rooms are nicer than they are. I am not a bougie person. I only require clean and safe. I felt safe but the room had a smell. The carpet def needs to be replaced. Thankfully I brought Fabreeze with me, it helped. Visibly the room looked clean but after my mom whiped it down with clorox whipes we saw it wasn't the best. Our bedding looked clean..I saw stains I'm hoping it was coffee. It was small so after spraying the bedding with lysol I felt ok. It smelled clean so I am assuming it was just a stubborn stain. The elevator was out so they were kind enough to place us 1st floor. The ice machine didnt work. So I asked the guy for some ice. They have a bar which is cool to get a late night drink. I told him the machine wasn't working. He told me there was a machine on the 2nd floor. The elevator was out. So he wanted me to take the stairs instead of him going into the little bar room right there and giving me a scoop of ice. I manage in customer service and I just thought his reply lacked empathy. After a few changes I would stay again only bc location.

The hotel staff was very friendly, comfortable beds and clean room. The continental breakfast was good too. We appreciated the shuttle service offered to the concert arena we attended. Our driver was very friendly! Saved us a lot of money if we drove.. lastly, the elevators were not working, in which we we told at check in. The manager offered to take our bags to our room on the second floor, which was nice!

Had heat on full blast walking up stairs and the elevator was broke so there was no way around it. Also the front desk night working gave some body a key to my room because they said they was my family and I was still out on the town. Gave them a key without hesitation or calling my phone to make sure it was okay.

Don't ever ever ever go to this trashy hotel The front desk lady was drunk. Air was drinking in our face. It smells like mildew none of the ice machines worked. Dark. The Staff, like so many Hotels..make or break your stay! The Staff was friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast was all you hope for in a " breakfast included" option. Plenty of protein options, hot and cold egg items, sausage, yogurts, breads, bagels, cereal waffles etc. The gym was perfect for someone obsessed with getting their 15k steps in and also do a free weight workout! The elevator was out at my time..but, I used the opportunity to replace stair master workout. The fridge and micro, iron and board all made my stay perfect!
