"Overall it was quite good, but the sink drained very slowly, to the point that it was difficult to use. Also, the bedroom ventilation seems to be connected to the bathroom, so there was occasionally some odor."

"Hotel building itself is fine - rooms clean and functional. Unfortunately the amenities are not as expected. Firstly, there is no elevator. We had a ton of baggage with us and had to take three trips up the stairs, luckily only to the 2nd floor. Cannot imagine if we were on the 4th floor. As well - we booked this hotel expecting an airport shuttle - when we requested to schedule one, the woman at the front desk informed us they do not offer a shuttle. I showed the Expedia page listing the 24hr shuttle service, but she shrugged and said that was Expedias issue. About half an hour later, we returned to the front desk to find out if we could book at least a taxi, and she said the hotel sub contracts a transit service for 300 Rand flat. It was that or an uber, for a 1.5km drive, so we booked it. At the shuttle the next morning, we learned it was actually 150R per person, we had 4 people (600R). The shuttle driver was kind and understanding, and he cut us a break, but that was not his job to do honestly. Overall, the experience fell short. Again the building and the rooms are perfectly fine. But if you are expecting an elevator, an airport shuttle, or an honest/cooperative front desk service, this is not the hotel for you. "

"Perfect for an airport overnight stay, the staff are friendly, professional and courteous. We appreciated the very kind gesture of being able to check in early after a long trip. We ate in the restaurant, food, wine and staff/service was excellent "

"Airport shuttle is reliable and frequent. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Our room had an issue with the floor around the air conditioner, but other than that, we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast is always fantastic."
