The positives:- Great beach location, well maintained property and 2 pool areas- Easy check-in, and clean / updated unit- Easy parking- Friendly staff and guestsThe not-so positives:- The bed frame was broken on arrival, causing the top middle of the bed to sag, making it feel like you were sleeping on a negative incline. After 2 nights of this, I removed the mattress and box spring, and bent the frame support back in place, which worked for the rest of our stay.- There were pretty much no consumables provided other than an initial roll of paper towels and a single extra roll of toilet paper. No surface cleaning spray or trash bags, so you'll need to bring those with you or purchase them along with extra TP and paper towels. I sent a message on the VRBO app to the host and never received a response.

Overall nice place!

The condo was very nice and clean. The listing says there is a washer and dryer in the unit. That is not true. They have a laundry service on tuesdays and thursdays. The bed in the master was not comfortable at all. My husband and i hardly slept the whole trip. Other than that, everything worked and the front desk was very accommodating.

Family Vacation

This property was clean and very well stocked. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. The pools and the beach are just a short walk from the condo. The beach was pretty crowded and the rental chairs take up most of the beach. Of course that is no fault of the property owner I would just recommend to future renters to go down to the beach extra early to get a good spot during the summer rush. This is a great location for families, they have family friendly activities most nights.

Awesome stay!!

We drove all the from Texas and stayed at the Islander and it was amazing…The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable…the view from the balcony was something out of a magazine…you could see the ocean and boats out from the balcony and could see our kids swimming in the pool!! Perfect location and would definitely stay again!!

The check-in process could have been faster. Only having two elevators only sucked when arriving and departing. We took the stairs any other time. The property was also older than we anticipated but it worked out. The furniture was kind of dingy looking so we sat on towels but other than that it was good!

Great location and amenities

Me and my husband spent a week here with our toddler. The unit was very kid friendly and the smart TVs were nice when we needed a break from the beach. The unit also had the complimentary beach chair service so we always had 2 chairs and an umbrella when we went out to the beach(such a must because Destin sun is so hot!!) We did feel like the king bed was slightly creaky. Other than that everything worked great in the unit and it was just as it was pictured.

Perfect Location!

We had an amazing trip. This property was perfect. The location, the view, the condo, everything! We can’t wait to return next year! The only negative thing about our trip was the squeaky master bed. Our son sleeps with us and if we even moved, he would wake up because it is so bad. Other than that, everything is perfect.
