Summer Vacation

Check-in was fast; they were able to get us in our room sooner than expected. The room was very nice. Food in the restaurant was very good. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

“Construction” is an understatement. You will wake up at 8am sharp to the sound of drilling and/or hammering. Clean but very small, closets full of paint cans and buckets. Really loud a/c unit on the porch. Pictures were dated, different furniture in place now. Pools were clean and cool, water temp was always good. Overflow lot is really far, many spots blocked by construction office and equipment. Gym equipment is all rusty, serves as a walkthrough for spa. Gym equipment not safe, pins won’t go in the weight stack without snapping out periodically. No free weights, no mats. Window in the bedroom on main hallway, noisy and bright.

We had a great time staying at Sundestin. The construction wasn’t really a worry as we weren’t in the condo most of the day while it was going on. The staff was super friendly!

Beautiful view, terrible construction

The room was absolutely lovely, but the outdoor pool, both hot tubs, and splash pad were all closed for construction that lasted all day long. We often woke to grinding and sanding, it was so loud you couldn’t stay on the property during the day. I actually felt really bad for visitors with young children. It became a joke with most of the guests. The restaurant was fantastic. We ate there 3 times during our 5 day stay.

Relaxing Week

The room was perfect for what we needed and offered a perfect view of the beach and ocean. We saw dolphins every day from our balcony. The property is walking distance to several beach shops, mini golf, and several restaurants. The Back Porch is just down the beach and had some of our favorite food and drinks from the week.

Scenic View, But UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Ocean view was perfect! But the resort never advised it was under construction! The outdoor pool wasn't available! The internet was OFF/ON during the entire stay!! And parking was ridiculous because of construction!!

***What you don't know will get you!!!!***

Just the facts. 1. Loud construction going on couldn't hear the tv even in full blast 2. Outdoor pool closed due to construction not in listing 3. Outdoor splash pad pipe broke under ground not worked since last year said snow bird couple. Kids very disappointed! 4. In door hot tube not functioning 5. In door sauna and steam room not funtioning 6. Cant use your own umbrella on the beach!!! "Private property rules" $45 to rent one for a single day!!! 7. In door pool and out door hot tube worked but was over crowded due all other 8. Restaurant onsite was good but kind of high priced 9.Our room had air conditioner exchange unit on the balcony! Very loud and a kid hazard! Beware of this as you cantbe out there and have it running and still here yourself talk! Overall half of the amenities not working or closed due to construction. Listing not clear, booked through onsite property management and when confronted with issues desk manager very unprofessional and rude... Place is going down hill, Dont stay here!!!!

Wonderful View

This Condo was clean, easy to access and everything that we were looking for. It had plenty of dishes, cookware ect. Plenty of towels and everything worked as it should. I was not the biggest fan of the ac unit being on the porch, but it ended up being ok. Loved the location and that there was a restaurant and bar onsite. Overall it was a great stay and very relaxing. Almost forgot, The bed was super comfy.
