We stayed at Athena - 4 friends celebrating our 60th birthdays. The house is nice/clean. The housing community was excellent. Easy walk to pools/beach. The pools were very nice - plenty of lounge chairs and a restroom. I messaged Daniela asking if beach towels were provided and asking how we go about having her set up the beach chair service which is listed in the description on March 9 and got no response. I reached out again on March 20 asking if my previous message was received. I did receive a reply on March 21 and in that message she said she would get back to me regarding beach chair rental. I messaged her again on April 9 asking about the chair rental again and whether we needed to provide trash bags, paper towels, etc. I got no response. On April 12 I messaged again asking for check-in information as we were checking in the next day. I did get a standard response I think everyone gets regarding check-in but no answers to my other questions. I messaged again asking the same question about the paper towels and finally got an answer. We never did get a response regarding beach chair service and handled it ourselves once we got there. We asked another question once we were there and she did respond. As other reviewers have stated there are lots of steps. Hard to get luggage up. I don't know that the house would be best choice for elderly/toddlers. We did not like that the lower level room could not be reached from the main house. Uncomfortable at night.
