wonderful townhome, great location, as described

The townhome was clean, and communication with the owner was prompt and polite. This is on a beautiful beach, right on the gulf! It's a quiet neighborhood, and fit our group of 8 adults perfectly so that everyone had plenty of room in the beds, and no one needed to sleep on the pull-out sofa. We would definitely stay there again!

The oceanfront view was absolutely beautiful, and honestly the only thing this property had going for it. Unfortunately, the actual property was very run down and not well maintained. We expected a much cleaner and updated place to stay. There were noticeable maintenance issues, worn furniture, and overall it felt neglected. Pictures online made it look much nicer than it actually was in person. The location and view were amazing, but the condition of the property really took away from the experience. Our second night there we had water leaking from the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom closest to front entrance and called the host about it and the damaged that it causes to my clothes and things I brought for the beach, they had maintenance guy come in the next morning because they “said it was from the dishwasher” which was a puddle of water in there and wasn’t even turning on to operate, and they said a new one wasn’t going to be delivered until Tuesday ! We check out on Monday.. So, from that Friday on all the way until our check out the water was still leaking through the ceiling! And also, the bunk beds seems a little broken and wobbly as well and the downstairs bedroom facing the beach shower door doesn’t close properly and water leaks out of it .. And after all these issues I’ve contacted the host and still haven’t heard anything back from them, even VRBO contacted them and still wasn’t able to get a hold them!

Bugs and needs a good clean

The place needs a good clean. Dead palmetto under pull out couch, sand and other mess under furniture. Real surprise was a live palmetto that came from under the garbage can when we threw something out night one. Many things show ware- all air vents barely hanging together on ceiling and all rusted or falling off wall. The view is amazing, but the property is run down, and in need of upgrades. The property owners attempted to reach out via phone to secondary phone number not primary and never contacted us regarding cleanliness and bug issue. Disappointing to say the least.
