Location of the unit was great and Anne was very helpful with logistics and accomodating our schedule request.We also very much appreciated that the beach chair/umbrella service was included in the rental - great plus! The guys running the service were friendly and helpful.The main living and kitchen area was nice and open so you could participate while cooking for instance. However, some of the furniture a bit tired (one was covered by an old quilt) and some more "furnishings" would make the place homier (add a bit more decorating/wall art).We would have given higher rating if it was not for 3 main factors. 1. The bed was not comfortable at all and needs to be replaced. 2. The kitchen - while I appreciate that they said "bring what you need for the kitchen" I didn't fully appreciate that this would refer even to some basics. For instance there was 1 small (5x7) cutting board which i only found on the last day. You could tell that others struggled with this as well since I could see knife marks on their granite counter tops. Other issues like missing lids for pots and only one sheet pan. 3. Finally, having a binder or something that gave instructions on use of the appliances (we had trouble with the clothes washer) and even some recommendations on local restaurants or shops is always appreciated and makes you feel at home.Overall we enjoyed our stay, but value for money may not have been up to what we typically get from other VRBO's that we've stayed in.
