The story of Palazzo Visconti takes root in the 1930s, when the art of wine production merges with the world of hospitality to create a unique place. At the beginning of the 20th century, Luigi Visconti acquired a small winery and, in the 1930s, established his business in the heart of the city. The location, overlooking the lake, offered a breathtaking view, and it was here that he decided to build his residence. The ground floor was dedicated to wine production, while the upper floors became his home, the perfect place to realize the dream of living in an extraordinary place and raising a large family. Even today, a photograph of the original 1930s building is visible in the image gallery. The restoration of the entire property, completed in 2021, carefully preserved the original architectural elements, keeping the most precious details intact. The elegant marble stairs, finely crafted wrought iron railings, artistic windows, and attic ceilings frescoed by artists of the time still tell the story of this exclusive residence. Each apartment offers a spectacular view and is named after one of the wines produced by the Visconti family, offering a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The Gran Lugana, also known as the Green Apartment, is a refined four-room apartment spread over two levels, perfect for welcoming families seeking a stay focused on comfort and relaxation. The apartment has three bedrooms: a master suite with a private bathroom and a king-size bed (200 cm x 180 cm), a double room with two single beds (200 cm x 100 cm x 80 cm, one of which is pull-out) and a single room (200 cm x 100 cm). All beds are equipped with high-quality toppers, a detail designed to further improve rest and make every night a pure relaxation experience. The Gran Lugana can comfortably accommodate five people, with the possibility of hosting up to two additional guests thanks to the practical sofa bed located in the living room. Crossing the threshold, you are welcomed by a spacious living area with a dining area and a balcony offering an enchanting view of the lake. Next to the living room, the separate kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and a modern induction cooktop. Behind the kitchen, there is a service bathroom complete with washer and dryer. Ascending to the upper floor, you access the sleeping area, where each room is equipped with air conditioning and skylights with electric opening, perfect for admiring the starry sky before falling asleep. Between the rooms, a spacious additional bathroom with a large shower offers all the necessary comfort.
